I've kinda lost my Lifetime Exclusive Ever Platinum Super Juday Kami Fans Club card so forgive the following unofficial rhetoric.
As many may (not) know, there is a movie in the works about the devotion to the Peñafrancia. Even fewer would probably know that Juday was billed for the project - allegedly she backed out citing the schedule may be unhealthy for her unborn baby.
So if those things were true, the producer (ka-iba kaya an diocese) must be moving heaven and earth to meet the deadline. It's exciting - I know. Will the movie make it? Will Catholic schools "encourage" their students to watch the movie (instant blockbuster - remember Tanging Yaman)? Will it touch on the Colgante Bridge collapse? Who will act as the miraculous aspin (Pag pig 3D parang Kimmy Dora ang aso - walk out yan)?
Moreover, will the shadow executive producer (BicolMail) stop grasping at straws?
It is unfortunate that Juday backed out - but it was her choice. Her baby came first before her job and rightfully so. Threatening err.. warning about falling from grace? Sad.
The movie is a good idea. Kudos to whoever thought about the idea. I wonder who got the lead though.
