It was March 18 when I received my acceptance letter from the Edilberto and Edith Tiempo Creative Writing Center. It said that I qualified as fellow for poetry for the 53rd Silliman National Writers Workshop. It would be my fifth national writing workshop fellowship because I had previously attended the Ateneo, UST, Iyas and Iligan workshops.

Naguenos to walk in tsinelas on Jesse’s death anniversary

Robredo, friends, and ordinary Naguenos on August 18 will ride the bike for peace and take the tsinelas walk from the JMR Coliseum to Eternal Gardens to commemorate the second death anniversary of their servant-leader and icon, former City Mayor and DILG Secretary Jesse M.
